Inner Starfish
What does a starfish look like when you
turn it over? It is undulating,
pulsating little hair like filaments that draw from the center out. It is this center that is its resource fo
fuel and life. Beyond the center it
spreads open in all directions as far out as it possibly can. Its use is…to be beautiful, to decorate, to
inspire. What is it’s defense from predators?
It retracts, draws in towards it center and hides like a thorny, rough
ball. I am curious as to why the
starfish exists?
What does your inner starfish look
like? We are vast limitless beings
contained by an undulating, pulsating body with our center at navel and heart. We grow in all directions, move in all
directions and feel in all ways. We are
vulnerable especially when we do not limit our capacity to feel and love.
What does our defense look like? Quite similar to the starfish I imagine. We get tight, rigid, close down, round over,
and disguise self and true feelings. We
limit our natural vibrant self to express and live out authentically like the
starfish.
I believe some of us are here to
decorate the lives of others, express joy, love fully embracing all, and of
course expand self in all directions as the God of your understanding or
Universe destined you to be.
A Halley
